Louise O’Brien
Design Expert
Louise is a Registered Architect in NSW, 11678 and an A plus member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
She is also a Class 2 medium rise Design Practioner in NSW.
Louise has over 25+ years of architecture and design experience. She has worked in 7+ countries (including London, Hong Kong, Shanghai ). She’s held Design Director roles in International firms (including Gensler, B+H, Woods Bagot) both in Australia and abroad running teams of 20 plus staff.
Louise is currently running the Architecture Club at the Sydney Opera House with her next workshop on 17th June 2023. She adores teaching all ages and making Architecture accessible to everyone. Teaching inside this magnificent building and sharing her love of Architecture with the people of NSW is a privilege and pleasure.

When Louise is not working on your home, she will be working on a 5 star hotels in Vietnam, or a commercial Headquarters or luxury villas. She has been designing hotels in Vietnam and China for over ten years. In the recent years Louise has assisted PTW and BLP Architects on award winning projects such as Campbelltown Hospital and Blue Lavender Bay and Sydney Museum.

Louise continues to teach Interior design. She has been running the Tiny Home and Residential program at Enmore Design college now for over 5 years with Jose Garcia. Design Centre Enmore - TAFE NSW . This gives her a deeper understanding of concepts and new insights—which she can applies to client projects.
She actively stays at the forefront of global design trends. Staying abreast of current trends allows her to deliver designs that are creative, fresh, and relevant. She invests time in reading books on art, fashion, cultural trends etc. She has a commercial understanding having worked with international commercial clients (i.e. Microsoft, AstraZeneca, Fairmont ,Marriott to name a few). Louise has experience in designing the worlds largest train station, hospitals and 5 star hotels and villas. She is a design expert to say the least!
